1. Who is Credit.com Educational Services?

Credit.com Educational Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Credit.com. We are a credit education company and our mission is to educate consumers about the benefits of sound credit management and empower them with unvarnished and accurate information about the credit environment.

3. How do I get invited to one of your seminars?

If you feel like you will benefit from the credit education then we are happy to extend you an invitation. Please call us.

4. Why should I attend your seminar?

Our goal is to help individuals that have gone through a credit damaging event such as missing payments, collections, the loss of a job, divorce or the loss of a spouse. We'll help you understand your credit issues and change your credit management practices so that you can begin enjoying better credit scores.

6. Do you have online seminars?

Not yet but stay tuned. We're working on an online seminar and will announce it on our website as soon as it's ready.

7. Do I need to bring any sort of identification to register?

Yes, please bring your identification. If you do not have your confirmation or your ID then we cannot allow you to attend the seminar.

8. Will there be food or drinks?

We will provide water for you at the seminar. You are welcome to bring coffee and snacks as long as consuming them doesn't disturb those sitting around you or the presenter.

9. Can I bring a guest?

10. I'm busy that day, when will there be another seminar?

We will post that information on our Seminars page when we have reserved the hotel space.

11. Can we smoke?

There is no smoking in the hallway or seminar room but we are close to an exterior door and you are welcome to sneak out for a smoke whenever you like.

12. Will there be any breaks?

Yes, there will be a scheduled 20-minute break during the session and you are welcome to quietly leave and return to the seminar room as often as you like.

13. Who is John Ulzheimer? (or, why is he qualified for this?)

John has been part of the credit world since 1991. He spent 6 years working for Equifax Credit Information Services, which is one of the national credit reporting agencies. He also spent 7 years with Fair Isaac, the inventors of the infamous "FICO" credit scoring system. He has presented credit reporting and credit scoring topics to consumers like you for over 10 years. He is a highly sought after "credit expert" and is qualified to educate you about credit. In fact, he teaches a class on credit reports and credit scores at Emory University's Evening at Emory program and was voted to top performing instructor by the students for 2005/2006. His strength is taking what can be a very complex topic and making it easy for anyone to understand.

14. What should I wear?

There is no dress code. You can wear what you like. We will do our best to make the room temperature as comfortable as possible. Just in case, you should bring a sweater in case it gets cold in the room. If you feel that it's too hot or too cold please let one of our staff members know and we will ask the hotel management to change the temperature in the room.

15. Can I film or record the seminar?

No, the material that will be presented is unique and is copyrighted. You are more than welcome to take as many notes as you like and we will pass out materials so there is no need to record the session. This includes video recording, audio recording or still shots taken with a cell phone camera. We are very serious about this and have to protect our intellectual property. We do not want to have to ask you to leave so please do not try to record any of the seminar.

16. Is the seminar available online?

Not yet, but stay tuned. That's coming soon.

17. Where is his next seminar? What city? Date?

18. Do I need to bring my own materials for taking notes?

That's a good idea. We will have some materials handed out but you are encouraged to take your own notes. Please feel free to bring a notebook and something to write with.

19. Who is sponsoring the seminar?

Credit.com is the feature sponsor of the seminar. There will be a few other sponsors for you to meet at the seminar.

20. How many people are coming?

We have room for up to 1,000 people for this session. We will cut off registrations once we reach this number.

21. Will I really get my credit report and score if I attend the seminar?

As promised, anyone who registers and attends the seminar will get their credit report and credit score free of charge.

22. Will getting my credit report cause a credit inquiry and lower my credit score?

No. We have a relationship with one of the three national credit reporting agencies that allows us to provide you with your credit report and credit score without posting an inquiry that lowers you score. This is called a "soft inquiry" in the credit industry.

23. Will I get to ask John questions directly?

We will have several Question and Answer sessions during the seminar and you are welcome to submit a question.

24. Can I leave early if I need to?

Of course. You can leave whenever you want. We just ask that you do so quietly so other guests are not disturbed.

25. Do you have special facilities set up for disabled people? Deaf, hearing impaired, wheelchair, etc. ?

One of the reasons that we chose the hotel was because they comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. There is handicap access to the seminar room and there are handicap capable bathrooms just outside the seminar room. If you let us know that you have unique needs then we will make every effort to fulfill any requests. For example, if you need to be close to the speaker or in the front of the room, please let us know and we'll be happy to save chairs for you.

26. Do I need to bring anything?

Yes, you should bring some sort of identification. Other than that, you're not required to bring anything except your interest and questions.

27. What if I want to talk to John about a possible business venture or if I have a question for him now?

You can reach John directly. He gets every email sent there and addresses each of them personally.

28. What if I have a question that wasn't answered here or can't be answered by your RSVP specialists?

If your question wasn't answered then please send it to John and he will make sure that it gets answered as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

The short answer is yes we do offer these services. Credit.com Educational Services prides itself in not having off the shelf products or services for businesses. Rather, each of our solutions is custom designed and developed pursuant to our clients needs and budgets.
